wonderful Ellewala Ella
A waterfall
called Ellewala Ella gained a lot of popularity when information about
it was shared on social media. The Ella - Wellawaya Road leads to
Ellewala Ella, a little yet stunning waterfall in the Monaragala District.
About 5 miles from Wellawaya Town, this waterfall is tucked away in the
woods. A waterfall named Ellewala Ella has grown fairly popular. It is
incredibly beautiful, however the waterfall only rises to a height of around 6
meters.
This lovely waterfall gets its water from the Alikote Area, and you'll pass the Alikote Ara reservoir on the way to see it.
About
At the base of the waterfall, you may take a bath. Young people who visit this location make sure to stay the night there in order to take full advantage of the view and appreciate it. Turn left into Wewelkandura-Kosgahawela Road when traveling along Ella-Wellawaya Road. This road lies in front of the Rathmal Vehera Ancient Temple, which also has friendship pillars for Iran and Sri Lanka. Following a short distance, turn left at the "Y" intersection and go along Ellewala waterfall road. You require either a trishaw or a real 4WD for the final few kilometers. You must proceed into the bush a bit further after parking. a secure location for tourists.
Tips before
The natural pool is a safe place to take a bath. Extra caution is advised, especially on wet days when the water level may rise significantly. The region is not at all inhabited because the waterfall is hidden behind a jungle. As a result, getting assistance in a crisis will be difficult.
At the same time watch KALUWALA
The
Monaragala District, adjacent to the town of Wellawaya, is home to the
little yet lovely waterfall known as Kaluwala Ella. From Ella Junction
in Wellawaya, go the Boralanda road for 2 kilometers till you
reach Ice Peella, a water filtration facility. The "Ice Peella Ella"
is another name for this waterfall. There is a footpath next to its fence.
